Feb 24, 2014 · I ran Speccy and it states that Hardware Virtualization is Supported but Disabled. Windows Virtualization Tool also reports it is disabled. A quick search on the Internet offered the suggestion of disabling Virtualization in the BIOS, powering down the system (NOT reset) then re-enabling. I've disabled it and powered down for 5 minutes, then powered back on and re-enabled it. Windows still says Supported but Disabled.
