Dec 31, 2008 · HDCP is not on component cables so some content will not play over component in HD. HDMI does require HDCP so that works. In short, all component connections on all TVs should do that.

Next, plug a USB-C cable on the back of the Apple TV 4 th generation. (For 2 nd and 3 rd generation Apple TV, make sure to use a Micro-USB cable.).
