Dec 05, 2014 · So I cant get 5.1 from the chromecast on the TV HDMI port. I ended up buying an HDMI switch that has CEC. Even with TOS link TV won't pass 5.1 from its input sources to the receiver. I found the more I researched that this was a common problem and I think someone posted something about sound bars having the same issue.
