I use S-Video for the hookups of my cable box to the Tivo and the Tivo to the TV (a Panasonic LCD HDTV). The cable box is a a Scientific Atlanta 3250HD. I did call Time Warner and they told me Tivo is not supported and I should rent their crappy box.
