Yes, you can install Hebrew fonts, but it requires a lot of work and in a sense, requires people to do something they will be afraid to do. Mar 04, 2011 · So I recently acquired a Samsung Galaxy i7500 from Orange in Israel. Because Google hasn’t written their own Hebrew support, the cellular companies here in Israel developed their own code together with Samsung Israel (menus, keyboard, fonts, etc.).

Jun 27, 2013 · Hebrew language support on Android. I thought someone might be able to help me on how to install Hebrew support on Android. I tried searching online but couldn't find something useful. There are Hebrew keyboards on Google Play, but you somehow need to be able to install Hebrew fonts for them to be displayed correctly on the screen.

It only works with "values-sp" directory (and maybe other fancy forms based on "sp" code). My testing device is under Android 4.0.4, it may be fixed by now, but that is far later than 1.5 where support is expected with ISO-639-1 (or even BCP-47 by the way). – Alex Feb 14 '17 at 8:57
