Herceptin The Last Cancer Blog

    Well, today, it is true! Today, this is MY last cancer blog. Today I completed treatment that began with a breast conserving surgery last November, followed by 6 rounds of Doxetaxol, Carboplatin and Perjeta, followed by 30 rounds of radiation and 11 additional IV infusions of Herceptin.

    Aug 29, 2016 · Hi Criley--I had Herceptin for a year after my Taxotere & Carboplatin treatments for breast cancer and didn't notice any negative side effects. My hair still grew in; I think my chronic neuropathy in my feet (still here after three years!) is due to the Carboplatin, not the Herceptin.
