Aug 06, 2011 · IMO: Use 64bit when you don't need madVR, because it lacks DxVA & 64bit support. Use then 64bit versions of MPC-HC, Xvid (if you want to have a postprocessing), LAV Filters (Splitter, Audio, Video [for Hi10p support, for others use internal MPC-HC decoder with DxVA support])

Nov 08, 2015 · I read that Fiji and some new AMD APU's supports HEVC video decoding acceleration. I tried to use latest LAV 0.66 with MPC-HC but without success (Not using DXVA in player statistics menu). Then I found page showing output from DXVA checker running on FuryX. It clearly shows "HEVC_VLD_Main" in decode device section.
