I returned my controller. From the forums, i hear that the Logitech will not work with this game but I hear that Microsoft's 360 gamepad works and also a ps3 controller with emulator. I will be trying the ps3 with emulator route since i already have the ps3 controller

Nope sure what Steam is yapping about "partial controller support" but I just start Steam and click play "Hitman: Absolution" from my Steam program and play on the Xbox 360 controller, heck I can even skip the opening cutscene with a few tap from the controller buttons.

Hitman 1, 2, Contracts and Blood Money all don't support controllers frustratingly (I really wanted controller support too, Hitman games feel a bit clunky to me with a keyboard to be honest). Not sure about Absolution though as I haven't played that one.

Feb 20, 2016 · Hitman is made for using a controller then pc support is added.. Controllers not working on new games is 99.9% not the game. "gamepads shouldn't be the way to play games on pc?" No..... you use what you want... A lot of games are made around a controller so less of the Keyboard and mouse is best rubbish.100% depends on the game.
