Jul 16, 2008 · I have a PowerMac G5 and since the 10.5.4 update I have had the same problem. Skype, PhotoBooth and other apps see the iSight without problem. In fact, iChat sees the iSight as the sound source, but will not let me video chat, even on the local network (Gig Ethernet). I get the same message - This computer does not support video conferencing.

Jul 10, 2008 · I upgraded to Leopard and video conferencing isn't working on ichat. I have a MBP, C2D, 2.33 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 256 MB ATI RADEON. When I go into the ichat Preferences pane and click on Video/Audio, there is a message ' This computer does not support videoconferencing.'
