Jun 30, 2016 · Windows 10 and CD/DVD problems I would think that with all the problems people are having with their CD/DVD rom with Windows 10, especially with older laptops that it could fix their IDE ATA/Atapi Controllers, Standard Sata AHCI Controllers to recognise when two pieces of hardware are connected i.e. harddrive and CD/DVD unit.
