Jan 27, 2020 · IE 11 and Edge - Complete end of Flash support I've been looking around trying to get a definite answer on end of support for IE 11 and Edge. I can see that it will be blocked in a forthcoming version of Edge but you can still re-enable it with a button click.

The Microsoft Product Lifecycle Search states, "Releases known as Components follow the Support Lifecycle of their parent Major Product."I cannot find a reference to the parent and presume it's Windows XP SP3, however I believe Windows 7 Professional was origanally released with IE8.
