The lady I spoke to suggested that the rate from April 09 will be around £96 per week which was made up of 3 elements; Income Support, Carers Allowance (the difference between Income Support and the Carers Allowance rate) and then there was an additional Carers Premium. Jul 15, 2013 · Ok thankyou the carers premium did not really bother us as we only recently found out about carers premium, and thought the were going to get income support couples rate £112.55 the the disability premium £44.20 total £156.75.
