Mar 30, 2014 · Hi I applied for Attendance Allowance for my Mum and the claim was recently allowed. I will be getting Carers Allowance from the end of this month and have applied for Income Support top up (I was told I couldn't apply for IS until I was getting CA).

Jul 14, 2009 · Thanks for responses. I'm making enquiries on behalf of a client whom I support as part of my job. He's on Incapacity Benefit but not DLA (going to help him apply). I am thinking it would be advantageous for him to be on Income Support or to receive an Income Support top-up (if eligible).
