Jun 10, 2008 · RHEL 5 does not show up in the list of OS's; only Windows 2003 and 2008. If I boot from the CentOS install DVD, the OS doesn't see the 2 arrays as hda & hdb as I'd hoped. I assume there are drivers in the ProLiant Support Pack to enable this since RHEL 4 & 5 are in the list of supported OS's, but have yet to figure out how to get to that point.

Officially, CentOS is “community-supported” on HP Insight Control for Linux. HP does provide a ProLiant Support Pack (PSP) for CentOS on some servers ; the procedure for downloading the PSP is described in “Step 6: Download the RHEL5.4 PSP and add it to Repository” of this white paper.
