Jan 30, 2015 · Re: [Solved] PAE on ATOM processor ? @geekus: While not all Atoms are created equal, I can verify that the PAE kernels work great on an N270 - one of the earliest Atoms. If your Atom is a true dual-core (not hyperthreaded like my N270), I would go for the amd64 kernel.

Feb 07, 2017 · Hello, I've got a thin client (HP T5745) equipped with an Intel Atom N280. It looks like this 32Bit-CPU supports PAE (cat /proc/cpuinfo told so).

I also have an Acer Aspire One netbok with Atom N270 processor (thank you, Intel). I can confirm that, despite specifications, the Linux /proc/cpuinfo is correct, and Atom N270 is indeed a dual core, or almost dual core processor. Either that, or Hyperthreading is no longer what it used to be.Author: Bustaf
