    Apr 01, 2014 · That processor will support Hyper-V, according to the Intel site. It has just 2 physical cores but Hyper-V will see 4 cores due to Intel’s Hyper Threading trickery. If you are only running 1 or 2 vms at a time it may be okay for testing purposes but if you can stretch to more cores that would be better.

    Mar 22, 2018 · I am running Windows 10 (build 16299) on a Dell XPS 15 9550. When I enable the Intel virtualization technology and install Hyper-V the laptop blue screens on startup every time. The only way to recover it is to disable the Intel VT in the BIOS. I can then start the machine but can't use Hyper-V as it needs the Intel VT.
