The Intel download assistant/diagnostic agent tested the device and stated it is working properly. The Intel site states support is no longer provided for my wireless network adapter - the Intel WiFi Link 5100 AGN (hence this outreach to this esteemed community). I have scanned the computer for errors, and rebooted. I have rebooted the router.

Apr 09, 2009 · I have a dell studio xps 16 with the intel wifi link 5100 on it. And I have an Linksys WRT310N. Before I got this laptop, all myHP pavilion laptops use their wireless g card to access the router and the speed are at ~15000Kbps. But when I hook this lappy to the network, the speed on this laptop is disappointing, results in just around 3000Kbps.

Feb 19, 2009 · Intel WiFi Link 5100 AGN. When I linked up with Rauter with N, so I got a speed of about 65 Mbps, but far away from the speed of 100-130 Mbit/s +. I have spoken to Lenovo and received a reply to update drivers on all that goes too uppdate and see if it works. For if I have 65 then I am on N linkage because the G only goes up to 54 Mbit/s.
