In Internet Explorer 7 the header is not shown at all. I found a workaround here , a IE HTML5 enabling script, which creates the html5 elements with javascript. But what happens is that the <header> tag looks not at all as it does in other browsers.

Dec 12, 2017 · Every time Internet Explorer shows you a site within the compatability mode, it will show you (on the right side of the URL) the torn paper icon, to let you know it is in compatability mode. In my case, however, it did not show that icon so I automaticly assumed, that it shows the site correctly, that's why it was the last thing to check.2.6/5(511)
