I tried manually downloading the activesupport gem and doing 'gem install local [path to gem]'. This appeared to work, so I did the same with rails 2.3.3.gem, but then got the same invalid gem format error, but for activerecord-2.3.3.gem.

May 02, 2013 · I'm having problem with the date format of rails. It seems to me that the default Date Format is dd/mm/yyyy.How am I gonna change it to something like mm/dd/yyyy?. I read somewhere that ActiveSupport gem can handle this but I don't how it works.

Was working as expected prior to a recent gem update with the addition of omniauth-rails_csrf_protection. I'm using Rails 5.2.2 (Ruby 2.5.1) app using omniauth 1.9.0, omniauth-google-oauth2 0.7.0 and the recent omniauth-rails_csrf_protection 0.1.2 gems.
