There is no way you can tell version control repository that the support pack is correct. VCRM will self detect the support pack for all the components inside the support pack bundle and decides whether its fine or not. If one component is missing or the support pack downloaded is corrupted in some way, VCRM will show it as invalid.

Nov 03, 2011 · When I don't have several of the same server model I often just run the support packs over the Repository. There are often updates available from the Repository and from the HP site that have not yet been put in to the support pack so this does mean you won't always have the latest and greatest updates.

Jan 21, 2010 · Uploaded support packs to repository When I go to Options -> Version Control Repository there is a message displayed on the bottom saying "This repository is empty". When I go to Deploy -> Deploy Drivers, Firmware and Agents -> Install Software and Firmware, I basically get the same screen saying "This repository is empty".
