My Ipad 2 is having nothing but problems on the 5ghz band. My current Linksys router is starting to fail, I believe so i went out and tried the Netgear 6100. My ipad 2 works fine on the linksys 5ghz channel. I have the router set to auto 20/40 MHz and auto channel for both the 2.4 band and 5Ghz band.
