Oct 23, 2016 · I did some research and figured out that this meant my hard drive was failing, no surprise because it is a few years old. I took to amazon and bought a new hard drive, same model number. This morning i replaced my old hard drive with the new one that came in the mail and I got 3 lines on a black screen, one of which was "start pxe over ipv4".

If IPv6 PXE boot is enabled and a Windows 7 installation is selected, a blank screen will appear and Setup will not run. In order to deploy a Windows 7 from WDS 2012, the machine BIOS/UEFI firmware needs to be configured with the IPv4 PXE network boot option.
