Jan 14, 2014 · I like to try to ping 4.2.2.2. It is an interent DNS server and if you get a response, you should be able to rule out internet connection as the cause of any issues. Also, pinging 127.0.0.1 (loopback) will ensure that your network card is functioning properly. I use these 2 often when getting communication calls for support.
