Dec 06, 2002 · Whenever I open a Japanese PDF with the Japanese version of Acrobat Reader, it displays correctly, but whenever I open it with the default (English-language version) there is just a blank document and an error-message telling me to install the Japanese Support Pack.

Nov 01, 2011 · I went on to finish making the form, but for some reason, even though the language settings is set to English and not viewer's default locale, the form requires a Japanese font pack. My computer is set to Japanese locale, but with the default language set to English, it should bypass this.

Sep 25, 2015 · Prior to a recent update of Windows 10, everything seemed ok with running Acrobat Pro 8.0. Windows 10 recognized it and it had the proper file associations. After the Update: Windows 10 replaced my default PDF program with Adobe Reader DC. Acrobat Pro 8.0 disappeared from the Default drop down menu and was longer associated with PDF files.
