The steps to enable JFFS through the router web page are very specific. To avoid having to reset and reprogram your router, it's smart to make a backup here of your settings. Aug 21, 2019 · With my last upgrade on TP-Link Archer C7 v4 (v3.0-r40559) I am not able to set JFFS2 support any longer. For me this is an important feature as I store my router certificates on the local flash. Could someone comment why this is gone or hint on other ways of storing my certificates on the router? Alas, the main disadvantage of JFFS is that it prevents the router from being upgraded. In fact, the upgrade procedure must rewrite the whole flash, and the data in JFFS would be destroyed.
