Current versions of Jira support several database types/versions, however Jira does not currently support MySQL 8.0 per the Supported platforms - Atlassian Documentation. For MySQL, only 5.5 -> 5.7 versions are currently supported for Jira 7.9. It would be nice if Jira supported these more recent database versions as well. Suggested Solution
