Jun 27, 2008 · I spent all of last week getting joomla running on an older NT server now to find out that I need to move everything to a window 2003 server. I setup everything the same way and now I am back to the Pre Installation Check which tells me there is no MySQL Support.

In terminal mode I checked that my mysql server is running but joomla can't detect or support this mysql. may be I missed php-mysql package or any code for which that mysql doesn't support.
