Didnt have to wait for any money or for claim to be sorted, they just signed me off and then onto IS within ten minutes and got my money the same time I normally would x

You can go onto income support from 11 weeks before your due date so you can do so now, its unrealistic for anyone to expect you to be lookong for a job at 32 weeks pregnant im not sure how you apply these days i was on jsa when i was pregnant with dd (dear daughter) and the advisor had me complete a form it all automatically changed to income support from 29 weeks xxx

Hi ladies, Just need a quick bit of advice, not trying to start a debate or anything! Myself and my partner are currently on a joint claim for JSA (for personal and valid reasons) and I heard that at 29 weeks I should then put a claim in for Income Support instead (again as a joint claim).

May 15, 2009 · You can apply for income support when you're 29 weeks pregnant. To do it you have to get a MATB1 form from your midwife and have it dated and signed by her, then you make an appointment with a jobcentre advisor, remember to tell them it's to claim income support, you then go to the interview and give them the MATB1 form.

Nov 20, 2018 · you will have to stay on jsa till you are 29weeks so will still have to sign on and actively be looking for work, although they are more lenient knowing it wont be for long. then you will go on income support @ 29weeks and stay on that once the baby is born.
