Feb 20, 2011 · The only disadvantage (in my opinion) is that the only containers that support mjpeg AND are widely accepted with mjpeg, are avi and mov. I don't like avi, but it's more widely accepted with mjpeg in it, than mjpeg in mov. Kdenlive probably accepts both, by the way.

I think because of the way that the new version was named (it’s called 16.12+git201703062257~ubuntu16.10.1, where the one from stable is 16.12.1), so apt thought that 16.12.1 > 16.12+git. Reply
