PHP gettext on Windows. There's some tutorials out there for gettext (w/ Poedit)... unfortunately, it's mostly for a UNIX environment. And even more unfortunate is that I am running my WAMP server on Windows XP (but I am developing for a UNIX environment) and none of the tutorials can get gettext working properly for me.

Jan 13, 2014 · If you don't want to use PHPTal, then you won't have the locale problem. gettext under Windows + WAMP 32 Bits will perfectly understand this: putenv('LC_ALL=en_US'); I know also that with PHPTal you can use another library for translating your messages and it isn't difficult to implement this; however for now I will stick with the standard library.

I went into WAMP, MySql 8.0.18, and edited the “my.ini” file. It opened in Notepad++ and I did a find and replace for all the “3308” into “localhost:3308”. I saved it and restarted WAMP, but WAMP wouldn’t start up all the way, it got stuck on orange. Luckily, I backed up the original my.ini file to my desktop.

Jun 06, 2017 · Yes, Activate the php_mbstring extension in PHP. If you are going to install new versions of Apache/PHP/MySQL manually yourself ( GOOD ON YA ) but you are going to have to learn to compare your current working environment to what comes by default in a new PHP release for example.
