Aug 04, 2014 · Given you are using x64 versions of Windows 7, your OS is fine for UEFI boot. if you are using an older MBR based machine, you can still use GPT partitioned disks as secondary storage devices. the MBR limitation only applies to the system volume (boot) my rig is UEFI so I can install Windows on any hard disk available, assuming I use the x64 DVD
