If you have a huge site (e.g. Amazon), put up a notice that IE6 will only be supported until (insert drop date - e.g. March 31, 2009) after which, redirect all IE6 inbound requests to an upgrade page, offering links to Firefox, Opera, Safari, Chrome, or IE7 / IE8.

I tried to install Google Chrome Frame for IE but, it seems it got retired as of Jan 2014. Also, in that document they mentioned that Legacy Browser Support to automatically switch between browsers.
