Geoff, I do the same as you (creating a single mega registration database). I've been doing some poking around, and it turns out that /Library/ Application Support/Adobe/Adobe PCD/cache/cache.db is a sqlite database, and you can manipulate it with the sqlite3 command line tool, or your favorite sqlite library in Perl/Python/Ruby.
