[Question] Can I delete the Logic Application Support folder found in my library? It's 7.5 GB on my already small Macbook Air HD. I use garageband, though, so I don't know if it's needed for all the different samples and instruments in there.

If you cannot find the instruments in the system wide library at the top level of the system drive, check the hidden Library in your Home folder: The user Library is hidden by default and may still be hidden.

If you installed Logic Pro X or MainStage all support for these applications will be listed as GarageBand as well, all Apple Loops, including the loops used by iMovie as sound effects, the instrument library with the sounds for the instruments.

How do I tell GarageBand where to look to find the files? Some context : I removed my Late 2009 MacBook's SuperDrive and now have two internal drives, a SSD drive on which I boot and the original internal drive. The "Learn to Play" directory in /Library/Application Support/GarageBand is now 7GB and I haven't downloaded all the lessons I want.
