Sep 11, 2014 · I have Linksys WMP54G wireless PCI adapter. When I bought it I was told there was Windows 7 support. I cannot find any win7 drivers for it. Their site only has vista 32bit drivers. Tried them and it causes BSOD on my pc. Is there any other way to find drivers for this? I talked with linksys and they said they are working on it.

I think the salient information being left out is the connector type. The data sheet doesn't tell the connector type; in fact, the data sheet doesn't even say the WMP54G has a detachable antenna. So, does it use the RP-TNC connector like most other Linksys devices (with detachable antennae) utilize?

Currently Linksys doesn't have the Drivers for these adapter for windows 7. As of now the only adapter which is compatible with Windows 7 is WMP600N or WUSB600N. May be you can try www.ralink.com and check if you can find the drivers for these adapter to work with Windows 7.
