Dec 12, 2014 · Perfect. Found the file downloaded it and got it copied over to the USB flashdrive. I open bootcamp and click the last option to install windows from a disc. I have a full version of windows 7 on a disc not an upgrade. It takes me where it wants to partition the drive. As soon as I hit install it says. Windows support software not detected.

May 06, 2017 · I, like many others, got the infamous "Windows Support Software Could Not be Saved" error, and therefore, could not get the full potential out of my Mac while running Windows. But as long as you keep Bootcamp Assistant OPEN after you receive an error, You can manually save the Support Software to your Hard drive or USB Drive.

Jun 18, 2015 · Original Title: cant sync to mac after W10 preview installation. I am unable to sync my phone with windows phone app on MacOSX. But I can detect my phone on a windows PC. Moreover, the install disk and the recovery disk are showing that the MBP is still on Lion - the install disk is still showing the "install Snow Leopard" dialogue box while the recovery disk is showing the option "Set up and restore Lion" (or something like that, I can't remember), while when choosing the startup disk, it shows "Macintosh HD Mac OS X 10.6.7"!
