UPDATE: I sent an email to Mackie Tech support. They said I should not be hearing the noise from the phantom power. On their advice I returned the mixer to Amazon and got a replacement. Mackie ProFX10v3 Review As you would expect, Mackie Mixers are high quality, user friendly, flexible mixers. The problem with the ProFX10v3 is the lack of record-able tracks when used with your DAW. The specifications are 2 x 4, but in Mackie language that means two tracks into your DAW and four tracks back to the mixer.
