ALSA support was added to Signal Processing Blockset (now DSP System Toolbox) in R2009b and was made the default API on Linux in R2013a. ASIO was added in R2012a and can be selected as the Audio API on Windows by going to the DSP System Toolbox tab of the MATLAB preferences.

Therefore as of December 2018 i will no longer provide that DLL for download, and all past, current and future Psychtoolbox versions hereby lose ASIO ® support. If you need reasonably good sound support, either upgrade to Psychtoolbox 3.0.15 or later for use of WASAPI on Windows, or switch to Linux.
