Jul 07, 2008 · £6000 pounds can effect the amount of income support you get £16000 is the maximum.you will be fine as its your sons money not yours therefor you have no rights to it. personally i think anyone on income support who can manage to save £16000 let alone £1000 shouldnt be recieving any money from the tax payers earnings.
