The Maxtor hard drive cannot be accessed by the new computer. Although the new computer reconizes the device by name, the Maxtor Manager window shows the partition as "unknown". Maxtor/Seagate tech support says I need to move the files from the old Maxtor external hard drive to a new Seagate external hard drive using a Windows XP computer.
