Oct 17, 2012 · Hi Naveen and thanks for the walk down memory lane with this question. You'll be hard pressed to find people who know MCMS, but there are still some around. Start with the MCMS FAQ. I started it back at NCompass Labs and then continued to work on it with Stefan Goßner at Microsoft. It contains about 1500 questions and answers about MCMS 2002.

Jul 02, 2007 · For the last few months I have been involved with an MCMS 2001 upgrade to 2002 which involved 10 websites and over 70 templates. This was a huge technology upgrade as the 2001 stuff was based off old school asp and vb code and was being upgraded to .net2 / Mcms 2002 with sp2 (adds some basic .net2 support such as sitemaps and master pages).

Nov 02, 2006 · A short note for all customers who have not yet upgraded to MCMS 2002 SP2. As outlined on the Microsoft support lifecycle page for service packs support for MCMS 2002 SP1a will end at January 9th, 2007. Support for SP1 already ended on July 11th, 2006.
