Well, I was trying to follow this answer "beamer, media9 - play multiple videos at once", in order to play two videos at the time in one frame.. But the problem is that, after installing the packages movie9, l3kernel and l3packages I'm getting the following error:

I tried downloading media9, l3kernel, and l3packages from CTAN. The installation instructions in the pdf that comes with media9 say to put the media9 folder in the local TDS directory, which they tell you how to find, and then to update the filename database by typing texhash in the command line.

What you need to do is ensure that you have the packages 'l3kernel' and 'l3packages' installed using the Package Manager, and that they are up to date. If you have the older 'expl3' and 'xpackages' bundles, you should remove these, synchronise you package database and then install the newer versions.
