Dec 10, 2017 · A few days ago, while I was still running Windows 7, both monitors flickered and went black for a few seconds. When they came back on, the display was no longer extended, it was duplicated, and the resolution was way off. I restarted the computer and everything was fine. A few hours later, it happened again.

Oct 31, 2009 · Hook it up to my arcade monitor and windows 7 "magically" switches to a resolution my monitor can't display. All good until I use Mame. When Mame switches out of full screen mode, Windows 7 "magically" switches the desktop again to a res my monitor can't handle. There has to be a way to force Windows 7 to low res and and to stay there.

Sep 02, 2014 · Unfortunately before I got smart and plugged a normal computer monitor into the computer after, on the advice of my brother in law, while in SAFE MODE, went through the device mgr and uninstalled the video card driver. The idea was a restart and the computer would recognize "NEW HARDWARE" and with default resolution I would reinstall the gx280 video drivers.

The cause of resolution not supported message on your TV has to do with the image size you are trying to put on the TV screen and your TV’s ability to accept and display that picture. VIZIO HDTV’s are compatible with many different standard resolutions ( or picture sizes ). Each model may vary in its ability to display different image sizes.

RE: SE2717HX does not support native refresh rate/resolution If I try to set it to 1920x1080 @ 75hz it says the display does not support the frequency. It says the maximum in the monitor settings (if I press the buttons on the actual monitor) is 60hz.

The current resolution can be verified on lower left side of monitor menu. If your system only supports DP version 1.1, monitor may get No Video condition. With older video drivers, there is a chance of getting No Video when the monitor MST is set to "Off" or "Primary".
