Aug 24, 2017 · the controllers configuration only work in big pic mode, + turn off the mapping for ~controller supported games or axis will not work that is if your playing morrowind and go to skyrim. you have to turn off the mapping and if you go from skyrim to morrowind turn mapping back on.

OpenMW has native controller support! So this morning as I was working on my OpenMW config files, I noticed a file titled "gamecontrollerdb.txt". Inside were various popular controllers (PS, XBox, Logitech), so I decided to plug in my PS3 controller, start up OpenMW and it worked beautifully.
