    May 29, 2009 · As far as I can tell, the mplayer in the repos does have mp3lame support. The lame package is added as a dependency and hence mplayer was built against lame. There's also no --disable-mp3lame or --disable-lame in the pkgbuild so it is autodetected by the configure script.
