I would like to know why Outlook 2007 and 2010 doesn't support full CSS. We actually I know why, because it uses the Word rendering engine. There really should be an update for Outlook to support proper CSS such as float and position etc.

Aug 17, 2011 · CSS not displaying in Outlook e-mail I created an HTML e-mail using CSS and when I tested it on multiple computers and e-mail applications (including two versions of Outlook) it worked fine. When a colleague sent it with her Outlook 2007 using the Insert>Insert As Text tool, the CSS no longer displayed.
