vSphere 6.0 adds support for vMotion of MSCS clustered virtual machines. Pre-requisites for vMotion support: vMotion is supported only for a cluster of virtual machines across physical hosts (CAB) with pass-through RDMs. The vMotion network must be a 10Gbps Ethernet link. 1Gbps Ethernet link for vMotion of MSCS virtual machines is not supported.

With native multipathing (NMP), clustering is not supported when the path policy is set to round robin. Please see 'Setup for Failover Clustering and Microsoft Cluster Services' for limitations on MSCS support with PSA. Apr 28, 2008 · For our MSCS setup we have two physical Dell 2950's each running ESX 3.0.2 63195 with a Windows 2003 VM on each running MSCS for file services (RDM). We can fail around cluster file share resources for load and patching et al. I hope to hear about it soon.
