Dec 04, 2008 · The K9A2 Platinum supports the new 45nm and AM3 CPU from BIOS version Beta 1.66 (in the meantime Beta 1.71 is the latest). There isn't any DDR3 support by this MB, but the new AM3 CPU will have the ability to control DDR2 memories also.
