In this case, I have the support and clutch and brake pedals complete with roller bearings fitting very tight (the clutch spring is a b**** to put on in the car. I've seen some Mustang places sell the unit just like this, so I thought it was possible.

Jan 14, 2011 · Slide a wrench into the pedal support and loosen the nut. The bolt head is held secure by the square whole. Once loosened, the clutch pedal will want to move closer to the dash, which in turn allows you to mess with the spring. Just be careful as that spring has lots of tension on it.

Jan 27, 2009 · Place a bearing on the stud of the clutch pedal. Then put the sleeve on the bearing. Pass the stud through the clutch/brake pedal support and then put a sleeve plus the other bearing on the stud. I temporarily held it all together with a cotter key.
