The Zune app opens and loaded all my media, however, when I connect my Zune device via its cable it isn't connecting. Is there a driver update I need or a way to force Zune to connect? I'll also add that the device shows that it is charging via the USB.

I used to have no problems with it, but recently when I plug it in it charges, but my Zune software still says to plug in my Zune to sync it. The only thing I can think of that possibly could have affected it was AIM.

ok, i know about going to ...\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Zune\ and saving the ZuneStore.sdf file to restore yor collection and ratings and stuff, what I want to know is where the various settings for actual software are stored, so that I can back that up and have all my settings like the startup view, the background, and folders monitored for my collection, all that stuff.
